Following up on suggesting fresh bands for a change
here is a suggestion u might already know…. The band in question must be one of
the first prog “supergroups” of the extreme metal (I think Testament –the Gathering
period- and late Death could match up this term)… Super fresh original or plain
remuttering Tool?Their latest album though sounded a bit like CBP or what?
The Story So Far…
It's only fair if we revisited this post. Almost a decade later, the "Tool wannabes" have established a unique sonic print and mastery that make them at times sound more similar to bands like Opeth, Sentenced, Paradise Lost, or even Bullet for my Valentine for that matter, than the aforementioned. 10 years and 5 releases later (4 studio releases and a live one) Soen became distinctive and noteworthy. Thus, Kokdi compiled A 30 track Very Best Of for continuing the story...
