One of my favorite suggestions, has always been the
megamixes, or mega compilations, such as today’s… Today we’re meddling with
one of the best, original and archival ethnic music waves, that ultimately
branded the sound of Metal to come… So New Wave of British Heavy Metal (often credited entirley to Geoff Barton a journalist / DJ) and its original
offsprings at their top of forms… One could easily notice that amongst the 10
some major N.W.o.B.H.M. bands such as Iron Maiden (selections from their
absolute debut album, or Killers, often mentioned as best releases of this
scene, were already suggested @ 3/5/15post), or Venom (with both of the albums already
suggested @ yesterday’s post)..
So Here you are with some history and music
appreciation lessons from Saxon (Wheels Of Steel), Diamond Head (Lightning to Nations), Angelwitch (eponymous album), Blitzkrieg (Time Of Changes even though they released it in 1985 and not somewhere between 1979 and 1982), Praying Mantis (Time Tells No Lies), Holocaust (The Nightcomers), Raven (Wiped Out),
Tygers Of Pan Tang (Spellbound), Satan (Court In Act), Witchfinder General (Death Penalty, a super Black Sabbath – like album) and Samson (Head On)
